Well I think at the moment this blog will be about my quest to find a great photojournalist position in New Zealand. I recently applied for a position in Queenstown and got down to the final two only to miss out to a guy who has five years experience.

So know I have applied for a position in Auckland. This position is covering someone for maternity leave for a year and is working closely with two other photographers so fingers crossed they won't be so hung up on that much experience.

I am still working part time at the local newspaper so that is giving me the opportunity to to shot a lot of images and get some experience to put down on paper.

Hopefully this will help.....fingers crossed. I am looking forward to telling the interviewer that I am up to speed with the whole blog thing.
